Mexican photographer, who began photography at the age of 18, traveling through South America, an experience that triggered his passion when he encountered enormous wealth. cultural and environmental that makes up its route. Since then, photography has been his passion and profession, working as photographer, director and producer of various film and photographic projects, whose themes have revolved around mainly around art, cultural diversity, human rights and environment.
After 25 years of photographic production, his professional career has taken him from the dark room, with classical photography, to digital photography, adapting to the new technologies and formats, without abandoning what seduced him from his beginnings in photography: the color of reality.
Self-taught in still photography, Fabian Cordero discovers his way of expression and finds in it the color palette and textures that he uses as raw material to create his work, which has always been abstract and linked to nature, an important source of his inspiration. In its beginnings, his work was composed of diptychs, triptychs and polyptychs based on slides, today it configures collages of multiple photos in which he always seeks to capture the real colors, without alter them in post-production processes, using digital tools solely to make his compositions in such a way that, in Fabián's work Cordero, photography becomes a medium for plastic creation.
